The systemic antibiotic Minocycline has a wide spectrum of action against gram + and gram-organisms, including strains resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins. A pronounced bacteriostatic effect is achieved by a high level of lipophilicity, rapid penetration through the lipid layer of bacteria and intensive accumulation in the sebaceous glands. Minolexin<sup>®</sup> is a highly effective and safe medication for the treatment of moderate to severe acne and can be recommended for practical use in outpatient practice.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Системные антибиотики в комбинации с топическими ретиноидами и бензоилпероксидом относятся к препаратам первой линии для лечения акне средней и тяжелой степени. Системный антибиотик миноциклин обладает широким спектром действия в отношении грам+ и грам– организмов, в том числе штаммов, устойчивых к пенициллинам и цефалоспоринам. Выраженный бактериостатический эффект достигается высоким уровнем липофильности, быстрым проникновением через липидный слой бактерий и интенсивной кумуляцией в сальных железах.
