This Personal Data Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as Privacy Policy) applies to all information of the All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Society of Dermatovenereologists and Cosmetologists” (RODV), located on the domain name https://vestnikdv.ru/jour (hereinafter, the Site), which the organization can obtain about the user during his registration on the organization’s website by completing various registration forms.

1. DEFINITION OF TERMS

1.1 The following terms are used in this Privacy Policy:

1.1.1. The All-Russian Public Organization “Russian Society of Dermatovenerologists and Cosmetologists” OGRN 1027739491361 (hereinafter, the Operator) authorized employees of the Operator, who organizes and (or) carries out the processing of personal data anddetermines the purpose of the processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, and actions (operations) performed with personal data.

1.1.2. “Personal data” means any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable individual (personal data subject).

1.1.3 “Processing of personal data” means any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of automation means with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (update, change), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, deletion, and destruction of personal data.

1.1.4. “Confidentiality of personal data”—a mandatory requirement for the operator to prevent its dissemination without the consent of the subject of personal data or availability of other legal grounds.

1.1.5 “Site User (hereinafter referred to as “User”)—A person who accesses the Site through the internet and uses the Site.

1.1.6. “Goods”—printed products of the Operator (printed publications—books, brochures, magazines, letterheads, etc.)

1.1.7. “Service”—the publication of scientific, educational, or methodological materials in the Operator’s publications, preparation for or preparation and issue of publications of any type, as well as a review of scientific works by reviewing scientific manuscripts by scientists–specialists and other services necessary for the Operator to perform its activities.

1.2. “Website” means a set of information, texts, graphic elements, design, images, photo and video materials and other results of intellectual activity, as well as computer programs contained in an information system that ensures the availability of such information on the internet at the network address: https://vestnikdv.ru/jour. The website is an internet resource for publishing and receiving information about various events held by the Operator.

2. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE DOCUMENT

2.1 The Privacy Policy defines the position and intentions of the Operator in the field of processing and protection of personal data.

2.2 The Privacy Policy is strictly enforced by the manager and employees of the Operator.

2.3 The Privacy Policy applies to all personal data on subjects processed by the Operator with and without the use of automated means.

2.4 Any subject of personal data has access to this Privacy Policy.

3. SUBJECTS OF PERSONAL DATA

3.1 The operator processes the personal data of the following persons:

3.1.1. Employees of the Operator

3.1.2. Subjects with whom contracts of civil law character are concluded

3.1.3. Candidates to fill vacant positions of the Operator

3.1.4. Clients (authors) of the Journal

3.1.5. Registered users of the Operator's website

3.1.6. Representatives of legal entities

3.1.7. Suppliers (individual entrepreneurs).

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1 Use of the Site by the User indicates consent to this Privacy Policy and the terms of processing of the User’s personal data.

4.2 In the event of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the Site.

4.3 By providing their personal data, the User agrees to their processing by the Journal (up to the withdrawal of the User’s consent to the processing of their personal data) to fulfill the Operator’s obligations to the User to sell Goods, provide Services and background information. When processing personal data, the Journal shall be guided by the current legislation of the Russian Federation, including the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152 “On Personal Data” and internal (local) regulatory documents approved by the Head of the Operator.

4.4 The provision of personal data of another individual by the User to the Operator is possible only with the written consent of these individuals or in cases established by federal laws. Thus, the User guarantees that they have informed other individuals (co-authors of articles, research supervisor, etc.) about the terms of the Privacy Policy and received the consent of all individuals (co-authors of articles, research supervisor, etc.) for the processing of personal data.

4.5. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Operator’s websites. The Publisher does not control and is not responsible for the websites of third parties, to which the User can go through the links available on the Operator's websites.

4.6 The operator does not check the reliability of the personal data provided by the User.

5. THE SUBJECT OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

5.1 The present Privacy Policy establishes the obligations of the Operator for non-disclosure and ensuring the regime of protection of confidentiality of personal data, which the User provides at the request of the Operator during registration on the Website or when completing the registration form for the purchase of Goods/Services.

5.2 Personal data, which may be processed within the framework of the present Privacy Policy, are provided by the User by completing the registration form on the Operator’s website https://vestnikdv.ru/jour and other sections with the User’s personal data and include the following information:

5.2.1. Surname, first name, patronymic (if any)

5.2.2. Gender

5.2.3. Date, month, and year of birth

5.2.4. Position, specialty

5.2.5. Academic degree/title

5.2.6. SPIN/ORCID/ResearcherID Scopus Author ID

5.2.7. Place of work/study

5.2.8. Contact phone number

5.2.9. E-mail address (e-mail)

5.2.10. Goods delivery address

5.2.11. Residence address and other information necessary for the Operator to fulfill its obligations and conduct the necessary marketing activities.

5.3 Any other personal information not stipulated above, including technical information automatically collected by the Site software during the User’s visit (purchase history, browsers used, operating systems, etc.) shall be stored securely and not disclosed, except as provided in paragraphs. 7.2. and 7.3. of this Privacy Policy.

5.4 Manuscripts are treated with due respect for the confidentiality of authors and reviewers.

The publisher does not disclose information about manuscripts in preparation for publication (including receipt of the manuscript, content, status during reviewing, critique, etc.) to anyone except the authors and reviewers. Reviewers and editorial staff respect the rights of the authors, do not publicly discuss the authors’ work and do not borrow their ideas before the publication of the manuscript. Reviewers are not allowed to make copies of manuscripts for personal use and distribution. If the author provides the results of research with the names of third parties (names of research participants, informants, photographic images of specific people), the author must first obtain the consent of the third parties for the publication of the manuscript and/or images. In case of disputable situations, the operator has the right to request from the author of the article the written consent of the research participant, the informant.

If the personal data of third parties (research participants, informants, etc.) in the article have been changed to protect anonymity, the author must provide a written statement that such changes do not distort the scientific meaning (this condition should also be noted in the text of the article).

6. PURPOSES OF COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal data may be used by the Operator for the following purposes:

6.1 Identification of the User for indicating the authorship of manuscripts published by the Operator.

6.2 Identification of the User to carry out the necessary marketing activities.

6.3 Identification of the User to place an order for the purchase of Goods/Services.

6.4 Identification of the User for the conclusion of the Contract for the purchase of Goods/Services.

6.5 Providing the User with access to the personalized resources of the Site.

6.6 Establishment of feedback with the User, including sending notices, requests regarding the use of the Site, the provision of services, processing of requests, and applications from the User.

6.7. Clarification of the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided by the User.

6.8 Creating an account for making purchases, if the User has agreed to create an account.

6.9. Notifying the User of the Website about the status of their order to purchase the Goods/Services.

6.10. Processing and receipt of payments, disputing the payment, and determining the right to receive discounts by the User.

6.11. Providing the User with effective customer and technical support when there are problems related to the use of the Site.

6.12. Providing the User with product updates, special offers, pricing information, newsletters, and other information on behalf of the Operator with the User’s consent.

6.13. Providing the User with access to the sites and/or services of the Journal to receive products, updates, and services.

7. METHODS AND TERMS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSING

7.1 Processing of personal data of the User shall be carried out until the termination of the purposes of personal data processing, by any lawful means, including in information systems of personal data with or without the use of automation means.

7.2. The User agrees that the Operator has the right to transfer personal data to third parties, in particular to courier services and postal organizations, solely to execute the User’s order executed on the Operator’s website, including the delivery of Goods.

7.3 Personal data of the User may be transferred to the authorized state bodies of the Russian Federation only on the grounds and in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

8. PROCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH COOKIES AND COUNTERS

8.1 Cookie files transferred by the Operator to the User’s equipment can be used by the Operator to provide personalized Services to the User, for statistical and research purposes and to improve the Operator’s services.

8.2 The User is aware that the hardware and software used by them to visit sites on the internet may have the function of prohibiting operations with cookies (for any site or for specific sites), as well as deleting previously received cookies.

8.3 The Operator has the right to establish that the provision of a certain service is possible only on condition that the reception and receipt of cookies are allowed by the User.

8.4 The structure of the cookie file, its content and technical parameters are determined by the Operator and can be changed without prior notice to the User.

8.5 Counters placed by the Operator in services can be used to analyze the User’s cookies, to collect and process statistical information about the use of services, and to ensure the operability of services in general or their functions in particular. Technical parameters of counters’ work are defined by the Operator and can be changed without prior notification of the User.

9. OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES

9.1 The User shall:

9.1.1 Provide the necessary information about personal data to use the site.

9.1.2 Update and supplement the information provided on personal data in case of changes in this information.

9.2 The Operator shall:

9.2.1 Use the received information only for the purposes specified in Section 6 of this Privacy Policy.

9.2.4 To block personal data relating to the relevant User from the moment of application or request of the User, or their legal representative, or the authorized body for the protection of the rights of subjects of personal data for the period of verification in case of unreliable personal data or misconduct.

10. LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES

10.1 The Operator, who has not fulfilled its obligations, shall be liable following the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

10.2 In the case of revocation of the User’s consent to the processing of personal data, the Operator has the right to continue processing personal data without the consent of the User if there are grounds specified in the Federal Law of 27.07.2006 No. 152 “On Personal Data.”

10.3 In the event of any claims from third parties to the Operator related to the processing and use of the User’s personal data, the User undertakes to settle such claims with the third parties by their own efforts and at their own expense.

10.3. Persons who believe that their rights and interests have been violated as a result of the processing and use of personal data should send an appeal to the e-mail address: rodv@cnikvi.ru.

10.4 Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn by the User in writing. Consent to the processing of personal data is valid until the date of its withdrawal by the User by sending a written notice to the Operator about the specified withdrawal in any form unless otherwise provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

10.5 The User confirms the fact of familiarization with the requirements of the Federal Law of 27.07.2006 No. 152 “On Personal Data” and fully understands and acknowledges the rights and obligations in the field of personal data protection.

10.6 The User is aware that in case of authorization on the Operator’s website through the accounts of social networks, they are subject to the rules and conditions of the relevant social networks, including the processing and use of personal data and ensuring their confidentiality.

11. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

11.1 The Operator has the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy without the User’s consent. By accepting the text of this Policy, the User gives their consent to all subsequent changes to it.

11.2 A new Privacy Policy shall take effect upon its posting on the Website unless otherwise provided for in the new Privacy Policy.
